Fashion Illustration is a mood.
To me it’s a spontaneous response – a glimpse at something that catches the eye and the immediate need to capture it.
This is a selection of my illustrations which can be simple or slightly more complex – layered sometimes.
I have always had a fascination with fashion – especially in illustrative form.
Fashion illustration is a few strokes of paint, a chopped out image plastered with ink, scribbled pencil marks, a smudge of charcoal, a splash of watercolour with a ghost layered over the top. Its literal or lateral, bold, weird, abstract – whatever it is, it requires that certain something that makes it a fashion illustration.
I’ve had some of my fashion illustrations featured in The Big Book of Fashion Illustration.
I have participated at live fashion illustration events – one of the being for large fashion brand Oasis.

I have been working in the creative sector since studying graphic design and illustration at LJMU. I started out painting murals and attending graffiti events – working primarily with spray paint at that time. I would then progress to painting large scale corporate murals once I graduated and began a placement at Nonconform – where I still work today. In my university days, I was often told by tutors that ‘you would never work in an agency’
Hilariously I hated computers whilst at uni, and preferred making everthing from scratch. Even now I try to be as hands on as possible, but obviously using a computer is inevitable with the job I do.
A few back in the day snaps. More to come. A glimpse at my fumey past with a few others in there from around that time (including the track) Graff, Family, friends, BBC Bananas Mosaic murals, Chavette vibes and so on …. I like sharing these images now, it was a huge part of my earlier life. #graff #molotow #walls #murals
